Space Science is concerned with Physics of space and ways of exploiting it for the success of mankind. The goal of the Department is to develop in-depth education, indigenous capability for applications in the core disciplines of remote sensing and geographic information system, satellite communications, satellite meteorology and global climate and space sciences.

It is expected that this courses will lead to development capacities that enhance knowledge, understanding and experience in aspects of space science and Technology that have the potential for greater economic and social development including the preservation of the environment.

The Department strives to education and research institution capable of high attainments in the development and transmission of knowledge in all relevant fields of space science and Technology.
