Department of Social and Intercultural Studies

Intercultural Studies encompasses cultural representation of cultural and social identities e.g. Gender and Development in the context of Social Science to address the challenge of policy making and implementation to equip students with skills to understand gender issues in the context of social and economic Development. The programme cuts a cross a wide range of disciplines and interdisciplinary topics such as Social work, Community Development and International Relations etc.

The department offers Diploma courses in the following areas

  • Diploma in International Relations and Diplomacy
  • Diploma in Social Work and Community Development
