The Department of Earth and Atmospheric science at the School of Applied Sciences and Technology will be vigorous and dynamic, uniting school and students to the quest to solve real world problems through the applications of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. With the emphasis on personal attention, the Department of Earth and Atmospheric science undergraduate program will provide students with a challenging course of study in the geophysical sciences, geology, geophysics, geochemistry, geobiology, atmospheric science, oceanography, climate planetary science and astronomy. Diploma in Earth Science was previously offered in the Department of Applied Sciences. The market demand of the course has grown tremendously.
